Suite for solo cello, premiered at gallery Helsinki Contemporary as part of their exhibition opening on Jan 9th 2020. The recording of it was published on Sep 18th 2020 by Tuotantoyhtiö Kimmo Helistö Oy.

”This is my fourth suite for string instruments — this time for the solo cello. It is a series of attempts to answer fundamental questions, such as, what are we, where are we going — and how. The suite is an expedition into finding, clinging to and, anew, letting go.

The first part reminisces over the fundamentals of cello litterature, and flutters towards the current popular to finally return to its slightly humoresque stating position. The second part peers over the planes; it is a reach towards the nature of real — a sketch where symphonic elements hide. The distinct coda is a floating moment somewhere between delirium and enlightenment. The third part returns in its playfulness and repetitiveness to humanity. The fourth and closing part extinguishes all demands for answers through its pathos.”
