Pekka Toivonen Ensemble

P/T/E  is Finland’s most unorthodox jazz act with a changing cycle of members. Pekka Toivonen is a Finnish composer, pianist and producer refusing to stick with any yet defined sound of music. Tenor saxophonist Ilkka Ferm is a black belt karateka full of soul. Double bassist Teemu Keränen is a ready steady jazzman from far up North. Hannu Kropsu is a science head gone guitar hero. Perttu Lindberg is human drummachine from Vallila. Pekka Toivonen Ensemble will take the notion of jazz to the lyrical softness of Pablo Neruda combined with the raw physicality of N.W.A. Wait for the unexpected!
